So it's a matter of getting started on what seems thoroughly inaccesible within the next 3 years...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3077210.post-1151472701591336432006-06-28T07:31:00.000+02:002006-06-28T07:31:00.000+02:00'A little lone star honor for LI, man!'Good for yo...'A little lone star honor for LI, man!'

Good for you! I'm glad to hear one of the stoniest places in the world decided to do something besides win execution records and asexually produce political odium such as pit bulls in high heels.

'Washerwoman's face' is one of the best things I've ever read! Shit, you shouldn't have put it on here, everybody will steal it. I know exactly what you mean by that look, even though I hadn't ever thought Gore could pull it off. When he was VP, he sometimes looked like a true American prince, the only one who did--of course, this was prior to the thickening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3077210.post-1151470304642741782006-06-28T06:51:00.000+02:002006-06-28T06:51:00.000+02:00I'm sorry about that, Mr. NYWP. Myself, I saw the Gore film last night, and the contrast between the man in that film and the politicos we've seen in the past six years did make me weep. I never liked Gore before he was beaten within an inch of his life. But it did something good to him. Near death experiences are wasted on the living, most of the time, but obviously he actually had to think about what he was. He now has a sort of washerwoman's face, with the aging that subtly forces the eyes apart on some people. The hair is thinning, the body is not. And yet he seems so much happier and lighter. He was born to be an expolitician. Let's hope he keeps doing this.
...

So I guess shitty mood describes it.

But, I did just get some cheering news from the State of Texas, which wants me to do something I won't share at the moment.
